Welcome to Harpool Middle School

Opened in 2008, Harpool Middle School is the southernmost middle school in Denton ISD, serving students in Lantana and the Guyer High School attendance zone. It is adjacent to Blanton Elementary.

The school is named for Tom Harpool, a local businessman and Denton High School graduate who consistently gave back to schools and the community. In addition, Mr. Harpool served on the Denton ISD school board, including many years as the Board's President during integration and times of tremendous growth.

Just as its namesake, Tom Harpool, was involved in the community, our students have many links to the community through Adopt-A-School partnerships, PTA, school volunteers and more.
